This page is simply a discussion page on which people can offer up their opinions on the use of wikipedia in the school system. As I borsed through it, I noted a particularly synical opinion of wikipedia by the majority of the conversationalists. I think it would be interesting for a teacher to post a pro-wikipedia comment to see what type of conversation it generates, as I feel that, if used correctly and as a 'jumping off point', wikipedia can serve a purpose to students to get them going om thier research.
Great article Alison, I find it interesting that this discussion goes on at all. I cant imagine traditional encyclopedias having controversy over who is editing their content.

This is not an article directly, but it does contain several aritcles about the advancing technologies in schools. People are able to voice their opinions and concerns about this issue and offer ways to improve the policy associated with it. I found it to be a very interesting site. http://www.naace.org/impict/lc-policy.html
Did you see any issues with breaking policy etc when you were student teaching?
